Ahh, the joys of coding. Wierd as it is, I'm really enjoying it a lot. I'm still unemployed, and I've completely burnt out my ability to stress over it. If I got a job tomorrow, I wouldn't even feel relief; interestingly, I'm not getting a job tomorrow. Come Monday I'll start harassing Manpower and some other places again, and maybe this time they won't give me that skilled-labor-only crap.

Anyhow, what I've been working on is a plugin for Compiz. I got it to work using some rather straightforward OpenGL code, but I wanted something that would be able to react and flexibly change itself on the fly. This is, of course, a tad tricky in C. As it stands with the piles of new structures and pointers, it just sorta crashes.

So. I really don't have an error console to output to, per se, so I will prolly need to load up stderr and pipe it to a file. Before that, I'm going to make another pass to make sure no NULLs are being referenced and other stupid crap like that, though I'm pretty sure I've put in enough idiot checks that it should at least do nothing instead of crashing.

I agree with the job part of that

woo apathy?
